WorldScrap- LME copper was closed at $6,530 yesterday, down $50 on weak demand while the warehouse stocks added 5,775 tons to 379,825 tons. SHFE copper contract 1001 rose 350RMB/T and ended at 51,140RMB/T today. As for the spot market, #1 copper cathode was traded at 50,750-50,850RMB/T in Changjiang, up 300RMB/T while 50,750-50,900RMB/T in Shanghai, up 300RMB/T. In domestic scrap market, copper price went up 200RMB/T from earlier day, however, the trade showed a low level as traders presented cautiously. The latest price: #1 bare bright 47,000RMB/T.
