2009 World Recycling Convention & Exhibition which was organized by BIR and administered by MCI Middle East LLC was opened on 24th, May 2009 in Convention Center of Grand Hyatt Hotel Dubai.

The attendees included ferrous, metals, stainless/alloys, paper, plastics and textiles. Over 400 companies and 800 people of visitors attended the convention and WorldScrap delegates also took part in it.

There were 4 hospitality booths and 32 stands in the exhibition hall. Besides the conference time, people crowded in the hall to meet their business friends from all over the world.

On the Welcome Reception, the sponsor invited the convention attendees to taste the local food and enjoy the music.
